What We Do

We provide trainings, workshops, guest speakers & other events that inform and empower our families on an individual and group basis. We also advocate for families as a whole within the various systems which include Juvenile Justice, Child Welfare, Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, Substance Abuse and Educational systems. We strive to ensure that the family voice is heard at all levels.

Support Groups

We provide Parent’s Peer Support groups which are open to all caregivers who need input on raising children, discuss child rearing issues or just want a sympathetic ear.

Partners in our Communities

The FSO plays an active role in the communities we serve. We participate in committees, boards, Chambers of Commerce, County Inter-Agency Coordinating Council (CIACC) and much more. We are an important and active presence in our county schools, our judicial system as well as an integral part of our System Partners.
